Who Do You Think I am?

Stolen like the dirty crook I am from [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]:
This is the problem with LJ: we all think we are so close, but in actuality we know nothing about each other. I'm going to rectify it. I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about. Ask away.
Then post this in your LJ and find out what people don't know about you.
I reserve the right to give a smart ass response to any question, but I'll try not to. ;^)

Date: 2008-07-02 12:56 am (UTC)Ahem, ok, this is a tough one....
Okay, assuming that I wouldn't make a big slobbering fangirl mess out of myself...
Living, I think I'd go for crushing. Jon, John, and Stephen. Tho' that's tricky 'cause even though I have "serious" questions for all of them, I also crush on Rob and I'd love to know if he has conflicting feelings left from being a Marine when he is now in a position to criticize the government freely. I know he probably doesn't, but I'd love to hear him talk about it. I choose crushing because as much as I'd like to spend the day trying to reason and debate with living people I disagree with on various issues, I'm feeling mildly crummy today and want to just go for the fluff. ^_^
Hmmmm.... dead. I'd hesitate to say Clara or Marilyn since even though I love 'em both (although I adore Clara harder), I know that their happy-go-lucky personas (particularly Clara's) didn't match their rather sad everyday selves (not that I wouldn't, you know, try to empathize and sympathize but if we're talking bring them back from the dead for a day, I don't think it would do much good). So I'll go with Dorothy Parker since I heard she was as brilliant in person as she was on the page, Jesus just because... why not? And lastly, Kahil Gibran, since I'd love to know what inspired The Prophet. Very close runners up would be John Lennon and Doreen Valiente. Hee, this was too much fun!

Date: 2008-07-02 01:28 am (UTC)I would really love to talk with Stephen seriously and at length about religion--assuming I could overcome my tongue-tiedness to say anything to him at all.
Although they did have difficult lives I bet both Clara and Marilyn would be wonderful to share some champagne with. Dorothy Parker would be amazing. I'll admit I had to look up Doreen Valiente--very interesting woman.
Also, your present is indeed on the way--it is a mere trifle but Liz and I hope you enjoy it.
