Who am I to fuck with a good thing? So just like before, before, before, and before, this'll be another year of the
50bookchallenge!

Film unknown; this may very well be just a gif creation (nuts).
I've managed to prod people before into doing this with me, and I'd like to extend a collective prod (you know, um, if you have the time). Just about everyone I follow on here is a better writer than I am and I'd very muchly love to read your thinky thoughts.

Date: 2013-01-12 03:06 am (UTC)Your wish for kids movies with romances between same-sex characters reminded me of the first scene in Ella Enchanted. If one doesn't know the context of the scene, it really appears that Ella's mother and fairy godmother are together, and that really just adds to it, imho. I wish there really were a movie where that was the principal story.

THEY WOULD MAKE SUCH A CUTE BICKERING COUPLE.
Like I've said, I really enjoy The Secret of the Wings if I pretend Periwinkle (OH FUCK I KNOW THEIR NAMES NOW) is Tinkerbell's love interest rather than her discovered sister, seriously (especially since I was so spoiled by Pixar that I thought all children's movies are alike now-- brrrrr). I mean, just look at how much better the art on the merchandise is (http://www.flickr.com/photos/68105287@N03/7995652760/sizes/o/in/photostream/) when you look at it with that point of view.
