Aw, Fuck Ya, This is Still Pretty Cool

I asked my father about the war once, asking if he burned his draft card, marched on Washington, or otherwise protested. He said he got called up and when they gave him his physical, they dismissed him ("F", which basically means the Vietcong have to be marching through the streets before they'll take you) since he has a blood pressure condition (and apparently had it even young) and my father got into an argument with them saying he played football in college and it was absolutely no problem. My father didn't agree with the war and thought it was grossly mishandled to say the least, but it was the principle of thing. *facepalm*
