R. I. P Del Martin

Del Martin, who finally got to marry her partner of 55 years this past June, died yesterday at age 87. Not just one half the first couple to legally marry under the California Supreme Court decision last June, she was also a well known GLBT activist, seniors' rights activist, and a crusader against domestic violence.
