HELP ME OUT! Bumping Into Broadway, 1919
Stealing a meme from queer_theory and I need your help! Except I'm not doing EVERY day in March, just a lot of them.

I want to blog at least once or twice a week here and I want to write about topics suggested by you, my long-suffering and awesome f-list. Specific questions, a general ideas, whatever. It can be about anything! Likes/dislikes, social justice/feminism, fandoms, silly or serious stuff, what have you. It can be in the format of the the "five things" meme if that's where your mind goes.

2. The internet's concept of fandom now vs. five years ago - how has it changed, pros and cons, and can Tumblr be blamed for everything?

3. Gush about a little piece of something you love. Like one shot in a film, or one chord change in a song. Love and appreciation of a meaningful thing on a microscopic level.

Random, but speaking of 2 (no risk of precluding your great topic with this particular thing: it's very specific), but recently when checking the home page to adjust for some new icons, I realized LJ apparently couldn't be assed to let me know when other people commented back to me on entries that aren't my own. >_> I fucking wondered why I wasn't hearing from anyone but goddamn. Anyway, I just got a message ten days old from someone that just entered the fandom (!) and asked (on an entry where someone was requesting "Brick is Red" and "Paint it Black" and I was giving it to them via SendSpace) if I'd mind uploading it again. I think I started rambling about "OMG, HI HOW ARE YOU! I'VE BEEN IN THE FANDOM SINCE 2007 BLAH BLAH BLAH DE BLAH BLAH! OF COURSE I'LL UPLOAD IT, HERE!"
...Yeah. *does Kristen Schaal face wipe thing*

WOW LJ THAT FEATURE IS SUPER HELPFUL THANK YOU. Comment notifications are always so screwy. (there's this kink meme I track and get e-mailed all the comments and once woke up to an inbox full of comments that just said "+1" to other people's prompts, and I like to hope it was LJ delaying notifications, and not just that someone had gone through the whole meme and just commented "+1" on a bunch of prompts because plus one-ers irrationally annoy me. Wow, tangent rant)

Speaking of fics that disappeared, I started re-uploading some fake news fics to AO3 like I said I was gonna. Yannow, just in case you were interested or whatevs. (I'm warriorpoet on there too)

Hey, guess what? I only knew about this comment because I was using said service to see if person requesting the fics got them okay. IT'S LIKE LJ IS FUCKING WITH ME ON PURPOSE WHICH IS SILLY BECAUSE I LOVE THIS LOVELY WEBSITE AND HAVE USED IT FOR TWELVE YEARS NOW, EIGHT ON THIS JOURNAL WITH WHICH I HAVE A PAID ACCOUNT AND STUFF. Ahem.

Oh Gods, I can't stand the "seconded" people on Kink Memes. WHAT FUCKING GOOD DOES THAT DO. I mean, I guess some people do it because they think maybe someone will take it up if a lot of people want it, but I've yet to actually see that work.

YAY YAY YAY YAY! I've been trolling AO3 regularly (I have some Batman feelz... btw, that Myers-Briggs personality type meme on Tumblr with fictional characters and you got the same type as Bruce Wayne? I GOT THE SAME TYPE AS DICK GRAYSON I SHIT THEE NOT; This of course means we should have an excellent crime fighting syndicate) and I will happily go look, since the last time I was in the Fake News section out of curiosity, I got hit with a bunch of Pillock and the saints wept.
