*squee tackle hug!*

Thank you so much, mai dear!!!

Woman—that’s no woman, that’s Clara Bow!

That made me sporfle like Dorothy Parker's assessment of her: "'It'? Hell, she had those."

So I get to thinkin', and look up my source book (my bible in this period), THE MOVIES: The Sixty-Year Story of The World of Hollywood and its Effect on America, From Pre-Nickelodeon Days to the Present (copyright 1957; yes, I still have it and its updated version from 1969) since I can't remember that Clara picture (and since all of mine are digital now, what with me embracing the new century and all, *snort*)I rifle through it again (I'm so bringing it the next time I see you) trying to find that Clara picture and bless my stupid, scribbly little teenage self, it was actually Mae Marsh (thank the Goddess for Google image search and the fact someone had this; I don't think that book could take a scan):

*facepalm* I'm going to excuse my teenage self as being so fixated on my idol that I cast her image over Mae's. *snort* Although the picture I sketched that from was obviously not as blue as this one, you'll notice it still bears almost no resemblance. *shakes head at self*
Oh, misspent youth!

ADDENDUM: *tacklehugs again* Thank you for helping once again boost my self esteem. ^_^
